Appointments

Mission MedVet is open 24/7 so you are able to call and schedule an appointment at anytime.  Our front desk staff will be able to assist you with an estimate of the initial exam fee.  Any additional testing and treatment will not be known until your pet is examined.  In most cases, the front desk staff member or a nurse will be unable to give you a full estimate until your pet has been seen.  Once we have completed the exam of your pet, your attending doctor will provide you with an estimate of your pet’s treatment options, plans, and costs.

Please download and complete our Client_Patient Info Form, and bring it with you on the day of your scheduled appointment.

Appointment Procedures:

*IT IS VERY IMPORTANT THAT YOU DO NOT FEED YOUR PET AFTER 8PM, BUT PLEASE ALLOW WATER THE EVENING BEFORE YOUR APPOINTMENT, IF YOU HAVE ALREADY BEEN ADVISED BY ONE OF OUR STAFF MEMBERS.

  1. Please make sure you bring any pertinent information with you on the day of your appointment.  This could include, x-rays, blood test results, any prescriptions and a referral form completed by your veterinarian.
  2. Please arrive 15 minutes early to complete any forms needed.
  3. If you are unable to keep your appointment, please give us a 24-hour notice.  Some of our doctors will require you to pre-pay if one or more appointments are missed.
  4. Upon arrival, you will be asked to complete our Client/Patient Form (if not already completed prior to the appointment) by one of our front desk staff members.  Depending on what service your pet will be seeing, you may be asked to complete additional forms.
  5. The doctor and his/her nurse will meet with you to discuss your pet’s medical history, condition and evaluate your pet with a thorough exam.  The doctor may also perform a more thorough exam away from the exam room in one of our treatment areas.  At this point, our medial team will have a better idea on how to proceed with diagnostics, treatment plan options and costs.
